Federal officials say that Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park continue to be in the planning stages for Border Patrol’s operational priorities.
According to a press statement from a public affairs specialist at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, CBP will continue to work to implement President Trump’s executive order 14165, “Securing our Borders,” and proclamation 10142, “Declaring a National Emergency at the southern border of the United States.”
These proclamations said federal officials will continue to develop and finalize their plan for border barrier construction funded by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
