Texas Congressman Lloyd Doggett organized a letter sent to new DHS Secretary Mullin on March 27,2026, co-signed by all Texas Democrats in Congress, the Ranking Member of the House Natural Resources Committee, and several other Members in support of Big Bend National Park and the surrounding regions. Keep Big Bend Wild was asked for significant input into the content of this letter. KBBW is a nonpartisan organization, and is also working with Republicans in the Congress to protect Big Bend.
