Take Care of Texas, a statewide campaign from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, supports our collective role as Texans in environmental protection in our state.
Keep Big Bend Wild is proud that we have been recognized as a “Texas Guardian” partner. As a Take Care of Texas Proud Partner, KBBW pledges to be a good steward of the Texas environment, and to share information about our conservation efforts to inspire others to take up the cause.
We’re equally proud that Take Care of Texas’ home page shows an image of the Rio Grande and the mouth of Santa Elena Canyon.
This could be an endangered view, however, as this very location could be the site of a future border wall or obtrusive detection technology.
